Commitment: Ensuring all patients reap the benefits of emerging advancements in clinical AI technologies.

Aim: Mitigating the risk of exacerbating health inequities.

Core Value: Upholding this commitment is integral to our corporate social responsibility and public benefit purpose.

Social Impact

As a Social Enterprise, we recognize that healthcare access is a civil right and that there are significant health inequities within the United States. AI technologies hold great promise in relieving many of the burdens in healthcare delivery, especially considering demographic changes affecting provider to patient ratios. We need to ensure; however, clinical AI also doesn’t widen the healthcare inequity gaps by being accessible only to the wealthy few and that the AI are trained and tested with data representative of all sub-groups. We also need to assure providers and patients that the recommendations given by predictive analytics are trustworthy, robust, and fair.

The profits we earn through our professional services are used to finance our AI Strategy outreach programs to qualifying and selected non profit healthcare organizations:

We will provide Free and subsidized AI Strategic Planning services, enabled by content and insights developed in collaboration with and informed by leading medical academic research centers and governing bodies. Existing content and practices may be overwhelming and not easily scaled-down to lower-resourced health systems. Our goal is to help “right-size” AI governance and value-propositions to fit the reality and ability of any healthcare provider or system.

  • We start by helping determine if and what type of clinical AI is appropriate for their health system today and in a future state, informed by: published evidence, health system objectives and priorities, the unique patient and payer mix at the site, and our own benchmark and knowledge-base. Backed by data, we provide them with recommendations for the type of AI tools and platforms that could make a real difference to their clinicians and patients.

  • Our health value analysis results in flexible AI assessment and deployment roadmaps.

  • Roadmaps are balanced against the current resources – people, processes, technology, and data – today and what may be required to realize a hopeful, end state.

  • We can provide AI training to staff to help providers work from true understanding between the hype and reality and to better ensure trust and adoption of any tools deployed by the healthcare system.

Our goal is to ensure that all patents benefit from the coming advances in clinical AI and that we support the potential to reduce healthcare inequities that these advances could address. As a social enterprise, public benefits corporation we are looking for Board of Director members that represent our stakeholders interests and can help us better achieve our mission.

Over 43% of the US population is seen outside of the largest academic hospitals and we are committed to find creative ways to ensure all physicians, clinicians, patients and their families can benefit from the coming advances.
